    Nora Carey comes to Walt Disney World Resort from Paris, where she lived and worked for nearly 25 years. As Director of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, Carey oversees content and programming for the world's longest and largest food and wine festival, which features more than 1,200 prestigious wine and beer seminars and several hundred celebrity and Disney chefs.

    Nora Carey, 42, manager of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, held annually in the fall, says the notion of a male-dominated industry may be a misguided American assumption.

    "In Europe, the wine industry is riddled with women," she says."Whether they are in the vines or cellars and actually making the wine, running the business or in the educational role, their presence is not unusual.
