ECOTEC Research & Consulting has added two more directors to its team following the appointment of Adam Carey and Allice Hocking. Adam and Allice have joined the company from CSR Partnership Ltd, a specialist provider of consultancy and research services for the public and voluntary sectors. Their appointments follow the acquisition of CSR Survey, a subsidiary of CSR Partnership, by ECOTEC in September. Adam has more than 15 years experience in urban regeneration and housing, having completed some 170 consultancy and research projects for clients throughout the UK. In 2000, he established market research company CSR Survey as a joint venture with Ros Grimes and became the non-executive chairman.Six years later he negotiated the sale of CSR Survey, now ECOTEC Survey, and the transfer of the housing consultancy team to ECOTEC. Previously a senior Labour councillor in Sandwell and honorary senior research fellow at Birmingham University's Centre for Urban & Regional Studies (CURS), Adam is also a member of the Institution of Economic Development (IED). Like Adam, Allice brings with her more than 15 years experience in research and consultancy. She began her career as a research fellow at the Crime Reduction Research Unit at Nottingham Trent University where she undertook a range of research and consultancy projects around crime prevention and anti-social behaviour. Since then, Allice has worked within academia, the voluntary sector and in private sector consultancy on a wide range of assignments. Prior to joining ECOTEC she was the managing director of CSR Partnership. Allice is now a director within ECOTEC's social policy diision, with a particular responsibility for work around young people, families and community safety.
