The condominium association of the Ritz held the forum, and Democratic candidates Mayor Scott Evans, former Mayor Lorenzo Langford and Assistant Business Administrator Domenic Cappella were joined by independent candidate Joseph Polillo.

Although the conversation was mostly civil, the candidates couldn't help emitting a few insults.Evans referred to Langford and Cappella as "my mud-slinging opponents" and said there isn't enough room in City Hall for the baggage they bring.Cappella noted that taxpayers are paying off people who sued the city, Langford being one of them.
