  The corporate actions module can be purchased on its own, or easily added to existing SmartStream customers' product range, according to managing director Mark Cappell."We found five to six months ago that clients using our cash and securities systems were asking about corporate actions.So we built a prototype and tested the proof of concept with custodians, asset managers and brokers around the world," he says."We didn't want to come to market without a proven product.A lot of other products are relatively raw, so we waited until we had fully tested our concept."
