A demolition permit has been issued for the interior of the property, Lisa Cantu, permits technician in the City of Arkadelphia's building department, said.

According to the permit, Cantu said, some walls will be taken down and others will be constructed to allow the building to house a tractor store on one side and a dollar store on the other side.

Cantu said the persons obtaining the permits did not state the specific names of the new stores."We don't know which stores it will be, whether it will be a chain store or what," she said.
