Ms Cann joins Airnorth following a recent role as Managing Director for National Bus Company, a Melbourne based organisation which operates 268 buses and is Melbourne's largest single operator for route and school bus provision. Prior to that, Mary-Lou held the position of General Manager - Kendell Airlines where she was responsible for the day to day management of an organisation of 920 staff, a fleet of 32 aircraft flying to 26 regional and capital city destinations. Her international experience comes from being based in Los Angeles as Airport Manager for Air New Zealand, where a major highlight was successfully co-ordinating the development and delivery of the Los Angeles Olympic strategy and operational plans for the airport.
She also worked as the Airport Business Manager in L.A. and prior to that was employed with Ansett Airlines with the Business Recovery Program as Project Manager - Strategic Procurement and Airport Services. Ms Cann was also involved with Ansett in various roles including Airport Operations and Air Freight taking in Sales and a position as State Manager.
