A native of Chattanooga, TN, violinist Gloria Cangahuala (above right) joined the Santa Monica Symphony in 1998. Prior to joining the symphony, she was concertmaster of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Chamber Orchestra and assistant concertmaster of the MIT Symphony Orchestra.
