Shannon Candler

Shannon Candler A speech therapist by trade, she is a painter by choice.Painting has taken her to various locations and created a deeper appreciation of the beauty of the world and an awareness of the importance of preserving and protecting our land for the enjoyment of all for generations to come.Shannon is presently chairman of the Georgia Museum of Art, Board of Advisors.For the second year she and Ernie Pricket are co-chairing the annual campaign committee for Trust for Public Land-Georgia.She is a member of the Forward Arts Foundation, having served as chairman of the Swan Coach House Gallery for several years.She and Peter live at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga. where she paints as well as in her studio in Atlanta.Shannon and Peter have two married sons, one granddaughter and another to arrive in March, 2007.
