Mr. Philip A. Canant

Mr.Philip A. Canant is the recipient of the $1,000 Capitol Cement Scholarship.He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Canant.He has worked hard for acceptance in the National Honor Society and has been active in the Cornerstone Church Youth Ministry.Philip has qualified for Advance Placement classes including Calculus, and was named to the Presidents Education Awards Program in 1999.He has also been a member of the Madison Sparrow Club and TSA.He has taken eleven GT and AP courses and worked part-time at the Fibership Systems, L.P. and as a Team Member for all positions at Whataburger.He will be attending the University of Texas at San Antonio and will major in Mechanical Engineering, Honors College.We are all proud of Philip's distinguished high school performance and unique capabilities.
