   It was here that Chris and Milo reunited as an acoustic duo and soon formed the Tungsten City Band in the fall of 2002.
   
   Milo resides in Rovana, CA with his wife Sereyna and dog Mary.

   Besides playing lead guitar and singing, Chris has written and choreographed some of the bands original songs.
   
   Chris Canales, grew up in West Covina, CA, started playing the guitar when he was twelve. After taking two years of classical lessons, Chris played in numerous bands in High School. It was here, with his peers, that he enjoyed breaking away from the strict classical technique. Taking his musical knowledge to a higher level; Chris enrolled in college with a minor in music.

   In 1993, Chris followed his love for the outdoors and moved to Yosemite Valley where he was soon destined to meet his future Tungsten City Band mates. It was here that Chris refined his skills with the steel string acoustic guitar.
   
   Playing with Cronin and Zach Tierney at the Mountain Room Bar, Chris developed a strong rhythm beating out old covers and Irish folk songs.

   For the next five years Chris was either saving money, jamming with his friends, or traveling abroad.
   
   Jersalem Prague Red Square, Moscow Jammin in Jordan Chris, guitar in hand, traveled to more than eighteen countries including most of the countries in Scandinavia, Eastern and Western Europe, as well as the Middle East. It was on these adventures, playing anything from Arabic music to Russian folk songs, that Chris's unique style was born.
   
   In 2001 Chris moved to Rovana, CA and started playing with Milo at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area throughout the ski season.
