OLATHE, Kan. - Bacone College golfer Thomas Canady earned the program's first national award in the spring 2005 semester. The senior from Skiatook, Okla., was named a 2005 Daktronics NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete.
Canady, a Cherokee Nation citizen, was a four-year letterman for the Warrior golf team while carrying a 3.9 grade point average in Management Information Systems. He posted five top-15 finishes individually including a ninth-place finish at the Central Christian College Spring Invitational.
