Paul Canaday has cancer, but he is fighting back for all he's worth.

Today, the Phoenix delves into his struggle, sharing his story, from the very first seizure he had in late October to the brain surgery he underwent last month.

Canaday, formerly a butcher at Central Meat Market and weekly columnist for the Phoenix, now spends his days fishing, gardening and feeding the birds in his back yard.
