Joe R. Canaday, 81, Anderson, died Feb. 20, 2002, at his residence after a sudden illness.
He was born March 4, 1920, in Anderson, and was a lifelong Anderson resident. He retired in 1980 as an engineer from Delco Remy Division of General Motors. He was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks Lodge 209. He served in the Merchant Marine.
