   Masterpeace Gardens was founded by Chris Canaday, Master Gardener and Landscape Designer in 2000. After living in exotic and pristine locations like Guadalupe, Mexico, Costa Rica, Maui, and Lake Tahoe, Chris's love of the outdoors and the beach lifestyle led her to Redondo Beach, California where she began studying horticulture and landscape design. After becoming a Certified Master Gardener in 1999, she started her company, Masterpeace Gardens.
   
   Chris's innovative designs have landed her numerous guest appearances on The Home and Garden Television Network (HGTV), and she was the recipient of the Redondo Beach Beautification Award for Landscaping from the city in 2003. In 2007 Masterpeace Gardens has been invited by The Arboretum in Los Angeles to showcase excellence in Landscape Design at their annual design show.
   
   Chris draws from her experiences of living in the tropics as well as the mountains when creating her designs. Her gardens are a reflection of her love for natural beauty and peaceful surroundings. Every garden she designs is unique and suited to the needs and desires of each individual client, based on an extensive questionnaire and consultation.
