Mary was a small business owner (floral shop) for 28 years in Mammoth Lakes. Her other odd jobs in the Eastern Sierra , ski lift operator, sporting goods salesperson, USFS fire lookout attendant , have all contributed to her success in promoting SBC's mission to the area. Mary currently serves on the Mammoth Unified School Board.

Personal Highlights In 1969 Mary attended one of the first classes of the National Outdoor Leadership School in Lander, Wyoming. Her love for wilderness and the outdoor experience was set for life! Mary is very content to have her job at SBC where she can actively work to preserve the beauty and wonder of the Sierra Nevada.
