   For the CF community in Canada, investing in research has proven to be the surest way to create a brighter future for adults and children with CF. For more than 45 years, the CCFF has funded vital, cutting-edge CF research and care. In 2006, the CCFF will support more than 45 research projects that are exploring all aspects of the CF puzzle; from investigating new methods of fighting infection and inflammation in the lungs, to finding new approaches in CF therapy that target the basic genetic defect in CF.
