   Dr. and Mrs. Jack Campisi, Red Hook, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise party at Cappuccino by Coppola's in Red Hook hosted by their children and spouses: Peter and Jacki Fenaroli, Red Hook; John Campisi, Milan; and Julia Campisi, Mystic, Conn.

   Dr. Campisi and the former Beverly Anne Seymour were married Nov. 14, 1953, at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, Ilion.
   
   Dr. Campisi is a former anthropology professor and taught at SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Albany and Wellesley College. He is a self-employed researcher on the subject of American Indian matters.
   
   Mrs. Campisi was a customer service representative for NYNEX before retiring in 1995. She is a member of Rhinebeck Senior Citizens.
