   Ceres High's Ric Campero is a finalist for 2004 Stanislaus County Teacher of the Year.
   
   Campero is an integral part of the comprehensive music program at Ceres High School.He currently teaches Color Guard, Guitar, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band and Jazz Band.He also oversees the award winning Field Show Band, Winter Percussion and Winter Guard.
   
   Teachers representing the school districts throughout Stanislaus County were nominated by their principals for Teacher of the Year.A committee of Rotarians and education representatives reviewed the applications and visited the finalists in their classrooms.
   
   Campero was one of three outstanding teachers selected as a finalist at the high school level.
