   James Campeaux has been working in the human services field since 1989 when he chose to change careers. In his history James has been an outreach worker, academic tutor, and associate director of a non-profit agency as well as an executive director of a conflict resolution center and restorative justice program, certified counselor, social worker and clinical supervisor. James comes to the Benedict Center with experience as the administrator of womenâ€s AODA treatment programs and has worked in residential, outpatient and private practice service deliveries. James has been credentialed through the Wisconsin Certification Board since 1994 and the Department of Regulation and Licensing since 1995. James also holds a certificate in domestic abuse counseling from the Domestic Abuse Intervention Project in Duluth, MN and is a trained mediator. James received his education from Concordia University and attended graduate school at UW Platteville. James has been playing guitar and fiddle for 38 years and has a CD titled “Heads and Tales” soon to be released on an independent label from Madison, WI. He loves to donate his musical talent to social causes such as candlelight vigils for Domestic Abuse, art walks and peace and protest activities.
