   Tracy Campbell Entomologist Tracy Campbell received a B.S. in Natural Resources Management from Colorado State University, Fort Collins. She completed her master's degree in Entomology at Montana State University, Bozeman. Tracy has worked in the fields of aquatic bioassessment, integrated pest management, biological control, and chemical ecology. Her ecological interests have taken her to the isolated Ecuadorian Amazon to study the effects of predaceous diving beetles on larval mosquito populations. As a researcher, she has worked for the California Department of Fish and Game Aquatic Bioassessment Laboratory, as well as for the U.S.G.S. Biological Resources Division. She also worked as a laboratory manager for the Department of Entomology at Montana State University. Here she collaborated on numerous studies focusing on semiochemical relationships between insects and their host plants. Most recently, Tracy has been evaluating family biotic index ratings for macroinvertebrate assemblages on a number of our project sites. She is also responsible for filing permit applications, maintaining records for fish pond licenses, coordinating fish plants and managing wetland planting. In addition, she has spearheaded a new program for keeping ponds free of algae and weeds without the use of harmful chemicals. Her continuing education goals include macroinvertebrate identification, wetland delineation, and riparian restoration.
