   Tori Campbell Tori Campbell joined KTVU as co-anchor of Mornings on 2 and The Noon News on April 1, 1996. Before coming to Channel 2, she was an anchor and reporter at KGO Radio. Campbell also worked as news director and morning-drive news anchor and hosted a weekly public affairs talk show for KKIQ Radio in Pleasanton. At WNLK/WGMX Radio in Norwalk, Conn., she was afternoon-drive news anchor and reporter/host of a weekly public affairs talk show, and was creator, writer and producer of special series. Campbell was the moderator and writer of a monthly political talk show for Concast Television in Danbury, Conn.
   
   Among the honors Campbell has received is Outstanding Young Journalist Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. She has also served as a board member of the Northern California Radio & Television News Directors Association.
   
   Campbell grew up in Connecticut and graduated with honors from Hamilton College in upstate New York, majoring in French Literature and minoring in Social Psychology.

   Active in the community, Campbell has been a board member of the Valley Volunteer Center in Pleasanton, regularly emcees the San Ramon Valley Community band concerts, and works with the Mother's Club and church.
