MRWA Administrator Sue Campbell to Retire

Marking an end to her 25-year career with Missouri Rural Water Association, MRWA Administrator Sue Campbell has announced her retirement effective September 1, 2007.During her tenure, Missouri Rural Water Association has experienced tremendous growth from approximately 200 member systems in 1982 to over 900 member systems today.Sue has requested no special events honoring her retirement.

Administrator since January

1989, Sue manages and oversees all Association activities and

personnel as Missouri Rural Water Association's chief staff

officer.

A member of MRWA's staff since 1982, Sue was named Office Manager of the Year in 1984 by the National

Sue Campbell, MRWA Executive Director, stated, "Our interim financing is a win-win program.Immediate money gets the system's project off the ground and the overall program is an excellent benefit to MRWA members."

"Missouri's water projects are typical to the industry ranging from water towers to the development of new systems.As projects payoff, the money is recycled and loaned out again.Since gap financings inception five years ago, Rural Development has been very supportive providing for an excellent working arrangement," Campbell said.
