   Shelley Campbell
   
   Shelley Campbell has one of the most joyful responsibilities at Baker Memorial Church. She (along with Dee Dee Pletkovich) directs the Cherub Choir. Shelley grew up in the Glenview Presbyterian Church where her dad was an elder and her mother was the children's music director. Shelley went to Glenbrook South High School where she played the violin and was concert-mistress for the school orchestra. She refers to ballet as her first love.
   
   Shelley worked for Mobil Oil for twenty years as a secretary and as an assistant manager of plant operations. During this time, she went to night school and received a B.A. in business and then an M.B.A. degree.

   Shelley enjoys her involvement with the Cherub Choir. She says, "It's the best job in the church because no matter how we do, everybody enjoys us. I really enjoy the team effort between Dee Dee and myself." They have 27 children enrolled in the program; usually 18 or 20 are there on a given Sunday.
   
   Shelley is also knowledgeable in the area of children's literature. As such, she manages the children's department at Town House Books down the street. She was drawn to Bake Memorial Church because of our sophisticated music program. Shelley also sings in our choir. Baker Memorial Church is blessed that Shelley and people like her are willing to use their gifts.
