    ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A district court jury late Friday acquitted for Albuquerque police officer Orlando Camacho in the shooting death of the man he treated as his father.

    Camacho had been charged with second-degree murder in the 2006 shooting of Kirk Carrol.

    ALBUQUERQUE -- The tape begins with an urgent call from Officer Orlando Camacho over his police radio.

    He is calling for help, but never once mentions the shooting, and he never says why he needs help.

    There is definitely a sense of urgency in Camacho's voice when he first gets on the radio.

    "I need 43-55 (rescue/ambulance) to 1716 Desert Breeze, PD," Camacho says."I also need a supervisor please."

    The operator asks if he's OK.

    Dispatcher: 1716 Desert Breeze.Are you 10-4 (OK)

    Officer Camacho: I'll advise the supervisor when he gets here, PD."

    As dispatchers work to get emergency crews to the scene, they try to unravel what's really going on and who the officer calling for help is.

    Second officer: What unit is that?

    Dispatcher: Still checking.It says Orlando Camacho, but I don't have him logged on anything.Is there any (officer) close to 1716 Desert Breeze Southwest?
