For Milton Callera, president of the FINAE, this judicial ruling "is one more proof of that we are defending the rights that correspond to us since time immemorial, and that we are defending humanity against the manipulations that economic interests with bad intentions are trying to carry out".

FINAE president Milton Callera said that the project proves that it is ,possible to protect biodiversity of the Amazon., The Achuar forest is home to 557 species of bird, which account for 5.8 percent of the world,s birds species.
