    Meahan Callaghan, SEEK's Human Resources Director and the project sponsor, explained: "As we increased the size and diversity of our product offerings, the range of questions we started to receive increased too."

    SEEK operates a 50 person customer service team in Melbourne, focused on servicing client requests. The company had an existing intranet in place however it wasn't being well used by the business and required a lot of time for little return.

    "The functionality just wasn't there for content management and even a small change required the involvement of our IT department," Callaghan said.

    Meahan Callaghan, SEEK’s Human Resources Director and project sponsor said that over 90 percent of the company use it for general employee communications, the phone list and social updates such people's birthdays. About half of the staff use the customer facing content on a daily basis as part of their job.

    Callaghan said one of the biggest benefits of the new system is that it does not need to be maintained and updated by the IT department: anyone in the business can use it.

    It was chosen over competitors because it was the most cost effective and easiest to use.

    “Training takes about 30 mins -- it is a very intuitive system,†said Callaghan.
