    Director Amie Cajka thanked all of the board members who took the message of the need for mental health funding everywhere across the county.

    "I thought we'd have a little more breathing room," Cajka said.

    If the levy would have failed, she said the board would have to go back and discuss other options, such as making it a renewal levy next year.

    "The need would still be there," Cajka said."The levy tax is the flagship funding for the county."

    The cost for taxpayers will be $1.50 more a month for a $100,000 household.For every taxpayer's $1, Cajka said the board is able to generate almost $4 from state and federal resources.
