Mr. Della Byrnes

Mr. Byrnes was born in Norwalk, son of the late T. Francis and Della Byrnes, and had been a resident of Westport for the past 40 years.

Byrnes served in the U.S. Navy for more than 20 years as a pilot and was a veteran of World War II and Korea.

Following his career in the Navy, Mr. Byrnes was employed as program manager for Norden Systems in Norwalk for 20 years.

He received his undergraduate degree from Mitchell College in Long Island, N.Y. and his MBA from Saint Johns University.He was a member of the Tailhook Association and had been an avid golfer.
