The BPA, as it is called by Paul Byrne, owner of readyTECH, is an excellent benchmark to gauge network structure and stability.
"The BPA is a real good gap analysis tool," Byrne said."I use it when I talk to clients. It is a great way to prescribe a series of tools or services to bring [them] from where [they] are now to where [they] want to be."
Byrne has discovered that the BPA is also an excellent tool to gain the respect of prospective clients.During meetings with clients and prospective clients, Byrne uses the BPA to demonstrate how the client can experience more uptime. He explains that he isn't trying to sell them some new hardware device; he is just trying to increase their network stability and security. He finds that clients respect that, and the more respect they have, the less likely they are to look somewhere else.
Of course, it is easy to convince someone when you truly believe in the solutions, Byrne says. And he truly believes in the products and services he can offer through Do IT Smarter. He trusts, knows, and believes that each service and product from the remote management to GMS to the Help Desk will each make his clients happier with their technology.
When clients see that Byrne believes in what he is recommending, they are more likely to buy.The mantra hasn't failed yet.
Byrne has found that people are a little cautious with the monitoring. That is why he offers one month free.He is so convinced that the solution will help the client that he lets them try it before they buy it.
Last Friday, readyTECH, secured it first client using this method.Truly believing in what you're selling is a plus, but it isn't all of it.Using the BPA as the foundation for all other recommendations, Byrne and his team of engineers at readyTECH now have monthly revenue coming in from TalentFuse, a 12-user company based in San Diego.
"Clients that are looking for product or break fix are not clients I want," Byrne added.
...
"Paul is the first to use each step and really make something happen."
Byrne might have been a step ahead of many Do IT Smarter partners. He joined the Do IT Smarter channel program because it was exactly what he envisioned for his company.
"It would have taken me about a year to do everything Do IT Smarter did," Byrne said.
