Glenn Byrne, sales & technical director for Weir Materials and Foundries said; "We are very pleased to have won this important order for several reasons.As well as a major contract for us, it continues our relationship with Talisman, where we previously supplied ZERON 100 pipe work on their Ross Field Development.

"It also extends the life of the Piper Alpha platform, where we supplied the process and seawater cooling pipe work systems in the early 1990's.Piper Alpha was one of our first major contracts and helped establish the reputation of WMF and ZERON 100 in the oil and gas industry".
