Jett Butler is the creative director and founder of FÃ-DA Studio.

Prior to creating FÃ-DA Studio and as part of a design team led by C. Cal Young, Jett's team received an AIA Honor Award and an Institute of Store Planners' Visual Merchandising and Store Design Award for its work with Rave Motion Pictures.

Jett has won a number of delineation awards from juries led by internationally renowned designers like Hani Rashid, Neil Denari, Wes Jones, Paul Lewis (of LTL), Randy Brown and commercial director Joseph Kosinski.

Jett Butler created FÖDA STUDIO in the spring of 2003.The following year, Jett's work was chosen as the cover image for Graphisoft's ArchiCAD 9.Of the work, Graphisoft's vice president of product management said, "Jett's image truly matched our aspirations ... . [The] image conveys the sense of a truly bold, futuristic design, exactly corresponding to our desire to capture the mood of the ArchiCAD 9 experience ... ."

Jett has been invited to speak or critique for Texas Tech University, the University of Texas, and the San Antonio Advertising Federation.

This year, Jett's original illustrations sold out on opening night at Arthouse at the Jones Center's annual 5x7 Show in Austin.Subsequently, he was invited to exhibit his work in Houston and Dallas for the 2006 5x7 Roadshow.

Secretly, he wishes none of this mattered; great design ideas can come from anyone, at any time.

Jett Butler is creative director for FÖDA Studio (www.fodastudio.com) in Austin, Texas.Founded in 2003, the studio creates and applies brands.They balance their branding portfolio by working with architects to visualize and alter places.

Jett's design career thus far is one of contrast and diversity: the new DELL Inspiron launch at Macy's; package illustrations for Graphisoft Archicad 9; winning the commission to re-brand the Texas ASLA; launching a record for Russell Crowe; broadcast ad spots for the San Antonio Rodeo.

Jett's illustrations and photography have been published or broadcast in Elle Decor, Interior Design, Texas Architect, Brilliant, SPA.DE (Japan), Ambientes por Obras (Mexico), Maru (Korea), "Late Show with David Letterman," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and other TV programs.

He has been invited to lecture or critique by the Austin AIA, Texas Tech University, University of Texas in both Austin and Arlington, and the American Advertising Federation in San Antonio.

Jett is a member of the AIGA and the Graphic Artists Guild, an associate of the AIA, and carries a bachelor of Architecture with a design specialization from Texas Tech University.

Owner of the studio, Jett Butler has been invited to teach a class for the AIA Summer School, a part of the continuing education program for licensed architects.
