coach, athletic director, David is a graduate of Morehead

(KY) State University.He began teaching and coaching at

Reily High School in 1964, where he served as baseball and

assistant basketball coach.

In 1969, Dave came to Talawanda and in 1970, he became head

basketball coach.He became assistant Athletic Director

to Larry Bowers in 1972, and in 1974, upon Coach Bowers'

retirement, Dave became Athletic Director.He served Talawanda

in the capacity of Athletic Director for 16 years.While

he was at THS, he coached boys Tennis, '70 - '75;

Cross Country, '76 - '79; and girls softball,

'79 - '81.

David dedicated 26 years of his professional career assisting
