David has over 13 years experience in the development and fundraising field.He has served Crossroads Christian Communications (100 Huntley Street) as Director of Partner Relations, two church boards, two capital campaigns, one church stewardship campaign and most recently as Director of Development of Shepherd Village Foundation, a multi-level seniors' health care facility.Over 10 million dollars was raised in total for these endeavours.

David has acquired the Certified Stewardship Professional designation from the Christian Stewardship Association based in Indianapolis, Indiana and is a member in good standing of CSA.He has also completed his "Major Donor" and "Foundations and Grant Proposal Writing" certificates with CSA.David is a member of The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Canadian Gift Planners Association, a licensed user of Big Data Base and Planned Give Assist (a planned giving software tool).David's personal expertise lies in the area of special events, major donor solicitation and training, board training, planned giving, capital campaigns, and pre campaign studies.He also gives leadership to foundation/corporation proposals, church stewardship campaigns, strategic planning, development/organizational audits, marketing and image campaigns, direct mail campaigns, and donor analysis.

David has experienced God's blessing through faithful stewardship since becoming a Christian in 1981 and has a strong desire to help others benefit from a commitment to Christian service through stewardship.
