Before joining Ocean Atlantic Agency, Jill worked in all aspects of property management and not only brings the experience of working with developers in creating new communities such as Captiva Sands and Creekwood but also acted as a liaison between the community association and the individual owners.

As a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and Salisbury University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Management, Jill is proud of her roots in Sussex County.She provides assistance for the Sussex County Land Trust and is a licensed REALTOR®.

Although offering support to one of the most dynamic development teams in the area is demanding, Jill devotes time to help her husband, Bryon with the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company, Inc.She assists him with fundraising efforts and annual Fire Prevention activities.

Ocean Atlantic has always been a dynamic organization even in the Fall of 2002 when Jill Burton came on board.

Growing up in Wilmington, just a few counties away from Sussex, Jill and her family trekked to the Rehoboth and Lewes Beaches often to visit with relatives as well as enjoy the historic and pristine coast our county has to offer. It was a natural progression for her family to relocate pending her parent's retirement. Now raising a family of her own, she couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

Jill graduated from Salisbury State University in 1997 with a BS in Business Administration, with a concentration in Management. Prior to joining Ocean Atlantic, Jill was a property manager for a local property management firm working closely with developers of condominium and single family home communities. When the business was sold, she was given the opportunity to join Ocean Atlantic.

Jill is the Executive Administrative Assistant to the President, Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Ocean Atlantic Companies. She also manages the daily operations of the corporate office.

Jill and her husband, Bryon reside in Rehoboth Beach with their children, Jeremiah and Paige. She even finds time to be active in community events with her husband who serves as the Fire Chief for the local volunteer fire company.
