   James Arthur Burton earned the dubious distinction of being the top man on the Durham CrimeStoppers most-wanted list for allegedly raping a child last fall.
   
   Burton, 20, is charged with first-degree rape of a child, taking indecent liberties with a child, second-degree kidnapping and first-degree burglary.

   Burton was living at the Colonial Apartments, 2920 Chapel Hill Road, when the alleged rape occurred shortly before Thanksgiving, Cpl. Kimley Gregory said.
   
   "He knew that the mother wouldn't be home and that it would be OK for him to go into the house when nobody was there but the child," Gregory said.
   
   On Nov. 25, Burton allegedly entered the girl's apartment shortly after 11 p.m., Addison said.
