   Jim joined McChesney & Dale, P.C. as an experienced attorney in 1999. He concentrates his practice on advising, and litigating on behalf of, pension, health and welfare, and apprentice trust funds. Jim also maintains an active practice in the areas of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROS), and general corporate/business law.
   
   Jim began his career as a staff attorney for the American Association of Retired Persons in Washington, D.C., and was involved with appellate litigation regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act and other laws affecting retired persons. While attending law school, Jim spent summers abroad studying comparative health care systems in Sweden and Finland, and also worked for the United State's Army Judge Advocate General in Japan.
   
   Jim is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Maryland Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
   
   Jim received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California, and his law degree from Drake University. Concurrent with his law degree, Jim graduated with honors from the Drake University College of Business and Public Administration with a Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis in health care. While working with the American Association of Retired Persons, Jim earned a Masters of Science in Health Services Administration form George Washington University's School of Public Health and Health Services.
