Daughter of Avery and Edith Kelley Burton, she was born July 21, 1910 in Lew Beach, NY. She was the widow of her husband of 69 years, Charles Lloyd Mann.
She graduated from Margaretville High School and then received her Teaching Certificate from the Delhi Teacher Training School. She taught in several schools including Livingston Manor Central School District. She was a member of the New York Retired Teachers Association. After moving to Daytona Beach she became a member of the Daytona Beach Christian & Missionary Alliance Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include five sons, Charles and wife Sharlene of Buffalo, NY, Burton and wife Kathy of Hudson, NY, Robert and wife Beatrice of Daytona Beach, FL, Russell and wife Mary Jo Dyroff-Mann of Wappingers Falls, NY and Roger and wife Ellen of Milton, NY; 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
