David came to the City of Lenexa in the sprint of 2000 from the Kansas City, MO. Codes Department, where he worked for 6 1/2 years.In Kansas City, David worked on a number of very involved and high profile jobs including the entire Union Station renovation, the FBI building and loft conversions in City Market.

David has previous inspection and CAD experience with Kansas City Water Services, as well as over 14 years in construction positions ranging from laborer, carpenter and surveyor to site foreman and site superintendent.He holds many professional certifications, and is continuing his education on many levels.

David and his wife raise and own several types of parrots.They enjoy traveling now that the kids are out of the nest.David enjoys target shooting, motorcycles, boxing, karate, and drag racing - or as he puts it, "all the really crazy sports".
