Guest: David Burton - Americans For Fair Taxation There are many proposals floating around which seek to change the tax code.Americans For Fair Taxation is a non profit group which wants to see the IRS abolished and a national sales tax enacted.This sales tax, which would equal about a 24% tax, would replace the social security tax, payroll tax and income tax.Because billions of dollars are unreported each year, income taxes do not actually tax all income.A national sales (consumption) tax would effect every person and still allow for charitable giving.No more income tax forms would be necessary.
