Alice Burton, Public Policy Specialist aburton@uwba.orgAlice joined Working for Quality Child Care in 2002, and now implements its public policy, technical assistance, and leadership development efforts to improve the professional standing of the child care workforce.Prior to joining Working for Quality Child Care, Alice was a Senior Policy Researcher with the Center for the Child Care Workforce (CCW).While at CCW, she conducted evaluations, managed the survey research division, and authored and contributed to publications, for example, Inside the Pre-K Classroom: A Study of Staffing and Stability in State-Funded Prekindergarten Programs.Alice received her Master's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1991.
