   "The NTBA is creating opportunities for people who are on the front line of developing New Urbanist communities to network, tour successful communities and learn from the successes and mistakes of fellow members," according to Theresa Burt, NTBA President and Vice President of The Midland Companies of Washington, DC. "Hopefully, by talking one-on-one with others who are committed to New Urbanist principles, members will be able to apply lessons learned to their own communities."
   
   The NTBA Executive Board members recognize a need for the NTBA to narrow its focus to address the many day-to-day issues confronting builders, developers, architects and planners in the implementation of their plans. "We are currently expanding the Board membership to more effectively represent the town builders and to help set priorities. The NTBA will continue to support the many excellent sister-groups and organizations that are leading the way in planning and policy issues." said Burt. In addition to Theresa Burt, members of the NTBA Executive Board include Jeff Cagan of the Cagan Management Group, Steve Maun of Leyland Development, Bob Turner of the Habersham Land Company, and Bruno Bottarelli of the Marquette Companies.
