   Mike Burt has been ringing the bell for 70 hours this holiday season. "It gives me more energy, it kind of builds me up," he said.
   
   And what may be even more impressive is that Burt is swinging that bell after undergoing dialysis for his failing kidneys. He said helping out others is worth the hours he spends on his feet. "I hurt afterwards, but I mean, it's a good deal, it's a good hurt, it's a real good hurt." Burt has been a volunteer for almost 20 years.
