   Oct. 18, 2005- Davaco Inc., a Dallas-based provider of retail services, has appointed John Burt director of national accounts. In this position, Burt will be responsible for new business development and the management of existing accounts for DAVACO's national retail clients. Based in New Jersey, Burt will cover the Northeastern United States, including Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York.    Burt joins DAVACO with more than 15 years of business development, sales, and marketing experience in both the construction and manufacturing business sectors. Most recently, he was managing member of Orchard Hills Design & Construction, where he was responsible for executive-level oversight of firm operations, contract management, vendor selection, and sales and marketing. He previously was with Condor Associates Ltd., for a combined seven years, where he was managing partner of business development and strategic partnerships, working with retail clients such as Kohl's, Federated, and ASPI (Albertson's). His background also includes serving as vice president of business development for LVI Services Inc., managing multiple accounts including Washington Mutual, AT&T Wireless, Honeywell Corp., Bristol-Myers Squibb, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
   
   Burt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in history/pre-law, graduating with magna cum laude distinction. "We are pleased to have John join the DAVACO team.
