   (Sept. 5) VALE, S.D. - Jessie "Janet" Burt, 68, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at the Sturgis Community Health Care Center, Sturgis, S.D. She was born Jan. 13, 1934, at Hyannis, to Andrew and Jessie (Haney) Jones.
   
   She graduated from Alliance High School, then moved to Rapid City, S.D., where she married. She then moved to Vale, S.D., where she lived with her family of dogs until her death. She is survived by one son, Richard (Sue) Rust of Denver, Colo.; two dayghters, Nancy Dyer of Casper, Wyo., and Kathy (Jerry) Flaigg of Sturgis; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also is survived by three sisters, Berneice Wright, Maxine Osborne and Shirley Gillespie; brother, William "Billie" Jones; and two brothers-in-law, "Doc" Gillespie and Bill McMaster.
   
   Mrs. Burt's funeral will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, at the United Methodist Church at Sturgis, with Pastor Keith Nelson officiating. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel at Sturgis and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
