The best part of Adam Burt's career as a tennis teaching pro is "teaching people how to have fun playing tennis". After attaining a B.S. in Marketing from Cal. State Northridge in 1990, Adam started his career as an assistant pro in a U.S.T.A sponsored junior program called the National Junior Tennis League (NJTL) at Penmar Park in Venice, California. Shortly after that he took over the Head Tennis Pro position at Penmar. In 1994 he moved on to be the Assistant Director of Junior Tennis at Mountaingate Country Club in Los Angeles. He then moved back to Hermosa Beach in 1995, after living here in 1969 and 1989, and started teaching at the Hermosa Beach Community Center where he has been ever since. When he's not at the court teaching, Adam enjoys family life, volleyball, surfing, wrestling with his 6 year old son Jake and playing Frisbee with his 11 year old dog Winston.
