   Robert S. Burstein, counsel, concentrates on corporate, commercial, securities and financial matters. He is a graduate of Columbia Law School (J.D., 1980, Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar) and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (B.S., 1976, summa cum laude, Beta Gamma Sigma (National Business Honor Society), Beta Alpha Psi (National Accounting Honor Society)). Immediately before joining the firm, Mr. Burstein was an in-house attorney for the second largest franchise system in the United States in number of units, concentrating on franchise disclosure and franchise agreements, a wide range of contracts and corporate matters. His earlier experience, with both law firms and major corporations, also included the areas of mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing, distribution, and the organization, operation and finance of business ventures. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Burstein was a member of the Varsity Track and Field Team at The University of Pennsylvania, competing in the hammer and 35 pound weight throw. He lives in Newton, Massachusetts.
