Rachel Burstein is an Acupuncture Physician of the State of Florida, National Board Certified as a Diplomat in Acupuncture, and past member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Acupuncture Society. In private practice since 1981, Dr. Burstein specialized in the treatment of pain, addiction and stress-related disorders. She has appeared on several radio shows including Dr. Atkins' NY show, as well as local TV programs in Massachusetts and Florida. Motivated by her own healing through acupuncture, Rachel Burstein made a mid-life career change, graduating from New England School of Acupuncture in 1981. Since that time, the thrust of her practice has been to empower her patients to participate in their healing and to be able to take charge of their own health.
