H. Is it true that Adam was not in the band when it began? Erik Berliner responds:"Yes, Adam was our best friend, but he has this tendancy to take over and change everything.

I. I read in an interview, that Adam claimed he was 5/8's of Anthem.How is this true? Adam Burstein responds:"Well, it's a simple equation really.I sing, play keyboard, write music, play rhythm guitar occasionally and I played drums for one song at our first show.That's 5 of the eight jobs in Anthem.I won't even count the Chimpanzee noises."

Adam has received a Bachelors of Science in Biology from SUNY StonyBrook, and is now aiming at a Masters degree in Computer Science from NYU.

Since November, 1998, Adam Burstein has been employed by register.com, inc.Although he spends a great deal of time working on- and off-site for Register, he enjoys being a part of Anthem, serving as their keyboardist and lead singer.
In 1990, Adam enrolled in the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a prestigious 7-year medical program located at the City College of New York.However, his interests turned away from medicine during his third year.Consequently, Adam transferred to The State University of New York at Stony Brook to complete his Bachelor's Degree in Biology.It was here that Adam's interests in computers seemed to flourish.
Following his undergraduate education, Adam enrolled at The Courant Institute of Mathematical Science at New York University to earn his Masters Degree in Computer Science.
Adam has a long musical history, dating back to 1976 when he first began playing the piano.Over the years, Adam has taken up other instruments which include the trumpet and French Horn.Additionally, he dabbles with other instruments casually.
