   Stanley D. Burson has been appointed Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Hartwell Industries, Inc. Mr. Burson brings a distinguished track record as President and CEO of Rutland Plastic Technologies, Inc., the third largest plastisol manufacturer in the U.S. The company makes proprietary plastisol printing inks (used in the screen print industry), sealants, adhesives and molding compounds for use in automotive and industrial applications. Rutland is also a Trivest portfolio company, and under Mr. Burson's leadership, earnings have nearly doubled during his three years with the Company. Prior to joining Rutland, he served as President and CEO of Composite Structures International, Inc., as COO of a privately held machined-products company, and as General Manager of the Access Floor and Air Conditioning Divisions of USG Corporation. Mr. Burson also brings experience in sales, engineering and manufacturing management. He earned his Bachelor of Industrial Administration degree from the General Motors Institute and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University.
