   The 40 students were selected from a pool of 500 student leaders on campus, said Scott Burson, IWU's assistant vice president for marketing. Those 500 were narrowed down to 140. Then the 140 students were randomly given a copy of Dungy's book, Quiet Strength: The Principles, Practices and Priorities of a Winning Life, and told to turn to an assigned page. The 40 students with red dots on the page won the book-signing lottery, Burson said.

   Scott Burson will sign copies of his book, C.S. Lewis and Francis Schaeffer: Lessons for A New Century from the Most Popular Apologists of Our Time, from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 28 at Tree of Life Christian bookstore, 3700 S. Western Ave., Marion.
